I'm super excited because my husband just built us a large deck, giving me a perfect space to start a garden! I recently bought six enormous gardening pots, but I'm wondering how to fill them with soil effectively. Using all potting mix seems way too costly and maybe even unnecessary. What are some budget-friendly options or strategies to fill these pots? Thanks a ton!

One great idea is to create a false bottom in your pots. You can either buy spacers or make your own using materials like disks. That way, you won't have to use as much soil; just fill up to the level your plants actually need. This will help save you some cash!
