I just moved into my first house, and I noticed that the previous owner used a ton of these 1/2 inch anchors to hang stuff—probably over 50 around the place! I bought some DAP DryDex spackle, but I'm not exactly sure if that's the right choice for these holes. Also, should I remove the anchors completely, or just push them in a bit and cover them? Any advice on the best way to tackle these holes would be super helpful!

You can just push those anchors into the wall and then patch over them with your spackle. Just make sure to smooth it out before painting.
Is that spackle good for bigger holes like these? They are pretty substantial at 1/2 inch.
