Hey everyone! I'm relatively new to gardening and I'm curious about what to do with the grass I cut from my garden. I've heard that leaving the grass clippings around my plants can be beneficial, acting like a fertilizer. I've tried that, but I'm wondering if there's a specific process I should follow before spreading them out?

I like to use my grass clippings as mulch around my plants to help cover bare soil. If I have extra, I toss them into the compost bin. It's a great way to recycle that cut grass!
Just make sure to let them dry a bit first if you're putting them near plants that are prone to diseases. They can attract bugs if they're too fresh!
I just let my mulching mower do its thing! It chops up the grass finely and returns it to the lawn, which works great for me.

Absolutely, I've been doing that for years and it works well for me too!
