I've got a sunroom that features two window wells, but they're not really serving any purpose since the room stays dry and the windows are made of glass block—definitely not egress windows since I don't have a bedroom in my basement. The two holes in the floor seem awkward, especially since they're tucked against the back wall. I'm wondering if I should fill them in (if that's even allowed) or just cover them up somehow. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

If the window wells are not acting as ventilation, I’d say you could cover them with something like a large plant or an attractive rug to distract from the holes. It’ll create a more inviting look in your sunroom. Be sure to choose materials that won't hold moisture just in case, though!
First off, it's great that you don't have water pooling in those wells! Since they're not providing any ventilation to the basement and are just there for looks, you could definitely consider covering them up with some decorative panels or even a piece of furniture to hide them. Filling them in might be an option too, but make sure to check any local building codes before you do anything permanent. Just remember, you want to keep the aesthetic of your sunroom intact!

Great idea! I love the idea of using plants to cover them. I’d just need to make sure they get enough light.
