I've been planning my installation based on 24" rafter spacing, but after measuring, I found out my rafters are actually 16" apart. Now I'm wondering if I need to place a mount every 16" instead, which would increase my flashing by about 30%. Initially, I was thinking of installing the mounts every 48" while alternating at 24" between two rails. Is this still possible?
