Hey everyone! I hope your gardening is going well! I'm trying to figure out the best way to plant in hanging baskets and pots. Should I pack the plants and flowers in closely together, or should I leave some space between them? I know it might depend on the type of plants, but I'm looking for a solid recommendation on the best approach. I'd really appreciate your thoughts and experiences on this! Thanks!

It's generally better to leave some space between the plants to allow their roots to grow. A few centimeters should be enough for larger plants, and a bit more for smaller plugs. This way, they'll reach their full potential!
For a 14" basket, I'd say about 4 or 5 plants is just right. That should give them enough room to thrive without overcrowding.
Don't hold back too much! Just make sure you give them some fertilizer and keep them well-watered. They’ll do great! Just remember, you have the option to either space out 4-5 small plants or really pack it in with more, but I'm not totally sure what would look best for a healthy, vibrant display.
Thanks! That really helps clarify my options.

Many thanks, appreciated.
