How to Acclimate Plants from Grow Lights to Outdoor Conditions?

I've been growing my plants indoors under grow lights for about 14 hours a day for the past four months, and they're ready to move outside. I'm wondering if I can just put them under a 30% shade cloth and leave them out there, or should I gradually acclimate them over short periods before fully exposing them to the outdoors?

Placing your plants under shade should be okay! From my experience, a good way to acclimate is to put them in full morning sun and then shade them from the harsh afternoon sun for a couple of days. The sun is still pretty gentle right now, which is great for this process. If you're in a cooler area, you might not need as much shade, but if you're at a high elevation or in a place with strong sunlight, keeping them shaded for a bit is wise.

Thanks for the tip! I'm in Florida where it's pretty mild now, so I think I'll start them under shade for a few days to help them transition.
