I'm in a bit of a pickle with an order I placed. I bought the M12 detail sander and cut-off tools, but I also ordered a 1/4" impact driver for store pickup solely to qualify for a buy more save more deal. My plan was to return the impact driver since I already own one. I tried reaching out to customer service to cancel just the pick-up part, but they told me I could only cancel the whole order because of the promotion. That can't be right, can it? What are my options now? If I don't pick it up, will they automatically refund me? Or should I just grab it and return it afterward? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, I’d just pick it up and then return it. From what I've heard, customer service can be inconsistent about these situations, but if the impact driver has its own price, you should be able to return it individually without issues.
You can wait until you get the item and then just return it. No need to stress too much over this; it should work out fine.
If there's no option to cancel in the app, then just go pick it up. I’ve done that before, and they rarely question returns as long as the item looks new. Plus, I believe they don’t charge you until you actually pick it up. So, you might just want to pick a different location for the driver if that helps!
