Hey everyone! I'm heading off on a cruise for 11 days at the end of August, and I've got a mix of plants in my garden. Most are in the ground, mainly roses that were mostly planted over the last year (with a few from May). I have 4 plants in pots that someone will water, but I'm worried about the roses in the ground. They get watered weekly with about 7-8 liters each (unless we've had rain), and I'm unsure if they can survive without water for that long. Would giving them a double dose (14 liters) just before I leave help, or would that waterlog the ground? Any advice would be appreciated! Cheers!

It's totally fine to ask your pot waterer to give the roses a quick splash too! We all help each other out with gardens when we're away. I mean, I’d spend a bit of time in a neighbor's garden while mine only takes a few minutes! Just don't stress too much about it.

Haha, I hear you! I also do it all with a watering can since I don’t have a hose. But I might give it a shot and ask them anyway!
