I just moved into my first home with my wife, and I'm not sure how to change the light bulbs in the fixtures we have in our closets and bathrooms. The closet light is flickering, and when I tried to unscrew it, nothing happened. The fixture in the closet has a white base but doesn't seem to have a screw that holds it in place. For the closet fixture, it should just need a quarter turn to the left to open it up. As for the bathroom, it looks like it might be a wet-rated recessed light. You could try pulling straight down to see if the lens moves. Sometimes they release the same way as the closet light, but it's tough to tell without a better view.
I've not dealt with that exact model, but usually if you feel around, you can find a few set screws that you can twist counter-clockwise with your fingers. Just be careful because when you loosen 2-3 of them, the glass bowl might come off! Look for those screws where the glass meets the metal mount.
It’s quite common for these types of fixtures to just rotate counter-clockwise to open. So give that a try! Another option is to check if there's a set screw you're missing on the base—getting a good view from all angles while you're up on a ladder can help. Just remember to hold the glass while unscrewing!
