I recently bought a house that has an abundance of landscaping, but I just noticed that my yard is filled with potentially toxic plants like lilies, hostas, tulips, and daisies. I'm worried about my dogs' safety since I've never done any gardening before and I'm trying to sort out the space for my veggies which are growing in pots. Should I be pulling out all these plants, or is there a way to manage the yard without doing that? Any advice on keeping it safe for my pets would be greatly appreciated!

I've had dogs for decades and have been a passionate gardener as well. My dogs have always left lilies and hostas alone; they primarily munch on grass. So I think you might not have much to worry about if your dogs are well-behaved!
