I recently painted an accent wall with a brush using a dark teal color, but I'm seeing quite a few noticeable streaks. The color is uneven, with some spots coming out darker and others lighter. To tackle those streaks, start by prepping the wall surface properly. A brush alone often misses the finer textures. Make sure to mix your paint well. Use a roller for the main surface - it's great for coverage and will help avoid those streaks. Don't forget to keep a wet edge, and resist the urge to go over areas that are already drying, as that will just make things worse. Aim for at least two coats for the best finish!
Got it! So it's best to roller everything except for the edges, right? Might try priming the darker spots first too to even it all out.
