I've been using a hand plane for jointing my boards and it's going pretty well, but I've hit a snag with two particular boards. They're quite close to being good, but I'm wondering: if I glue them together and then run the seam through my table saw, will that create a decent joint for me to work with? Looking for some tips!

When you're jointing with a hand plane, try placing the two boards like an open book, with their edges side by side. This way, you can work on them together, and any small errors can cancel each other out when the edges are mated back together. It’s a solid technique!

Absolutely! This method works wonders. I find that jointing with a plane gives a much cleaner glue line compared to using a table saw.
