I've got a peony bush that only has one bud left after dealing with a spider mite infestation. It's been about five days since I last treated it with neem oil, and I'm still seeing signs of mites. I did trim it back, possibly not correctly, and I'm wondering if I need to trim it more to encourage more blooms. Should I just enjoy this one bloom, or is there a way to encourage more flowers?

Honestly, peonies can be tough! If it's not thriving now, you might need to wait until next year to see better growth. Unfortunate, but that's how they can be sometimes.
I saw your picture! It might look more like a rose due to the image quality, but if it's indeed a peony, just keep tending to it, and it could potentially produce new buds as long as you care for it well.
If your peony is a reblooming variety, you should see more blossoms later this season! Just make sure to keep treating it properly and it should bounce back. It's really about whether it's one of those types that blooms multiple times.
