I recently moved into a new house that has LED ceiling lights connected to a dimmer switch, but I'm having some issues because regular LEDs don't typically work well with standard dimmers. Would it be better to replace the dimmer switch with one designed for LEDs, or should I switch out the LED fixtures for dimmable light fixtures instead? Also, are there any stylish light bulb fixtures that work well with dimmers?

There are plenty of stylish dimmable LED fixtures out there! Just check that you get the right color temperature and sound quality—some do hum a bit. I'm loving my warm dimmable LEDs!
If your LEDs aren't dimmable, you'll want to replace either the lights or the dimmer. Look for a dimmer that's specifically rated for LEDs, like a Lutron model. It can make a big difference!
Totally agree! That's what I did, and it worked like a charm.
You definitely want to get a dimmer switch that's compatible with LEDs. Just a regular switch won't do the trick. Make sure your LEDs are dimmable as well!
It's not just bulbs, right? My setup has flat plates with lots of tiny LEDs.
We attached LEDs to an old dimmer, and it worked fine as long as you turn it up fully before dimming down.

I’ve heard good things about the Lutron dimmers; they seem to work well with LEDs.
