I've been working as a landscaper for a couple of years, and I really struggle with getting the smell of mulch off my hands. I've tried gritty mechanic soap, which helps remove the dye, but even after showering, my hands still smell like mulch. Does anyone have suggestions for products or techniques that really work?

Honestly, after ten years in landscaping, I just learned to accept it. The smell eventually fades when the mulch season ends, though I was known to have dirt under my nails for ages! Showers were shocking with all that dark water, haha!
Ever tried vinegar? Worst case, you might end up with a vinegar smell instead, but hey, it beats the mulch for sure! ?
Thanks for the tip, but that doesn't sound too appealing! ?
Gloves are a game changer! If you wear them while working, you'd avoid that mulch smell altogether. Of course, it’s too late once you already have the aroma stuck on your skin! But considering using them next time could really save you the trouble.
Yeah, but sometimes it’s just a part of the job! Those stubborn smells seem like they just cling on. ?
Have you ever heard of stainless steel soap? It’s supposed to work wonders at getting rid of strong odors. I just found out about it and I'm curious if it actually does the trick!
I had no clue this was even a thing! Gonna have to check it out.

That’s so true! It’s just part of the life, isn't it? ?
