Hey everyone, I recently had a small leak when I was cleaning my second-floor shower. The door was left open, and a good bit of water spilled out, dripping through a light fixture to the room below. Thankfully, it wasn't a huge quantity—probably around a gallon. I had a bathroom remodel done a couple of years ago due to a different leak issue, so I think this is just a one-off situation. My question is: do I need to remove the flooring to check for damage, or will using an industrial dehumidifier for a few days do the trick? Also, do you think I should invest in a moisture sensor? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If your floor is tile or vinyl, running a dehumidifier should be a good call to keep things dry and prevent any mold. No need to rip up the floor unless you notice ongoing issues. Just keep an eye on it!
Thanks for the tip! It's actually LVP, but I think a dehumidifier will still work.
