How to Handle Millipedes in My Garden?

I've got a bit of a millipede situation going on in my garden in Scotland. The soil here is usually quite damp, which I've noticed has attracted a lot of these little critters, especially at night. I understand they're not harmful, but their numbers are a little unsettling. Does anyone have any tips on how to manage this? I'd really appreciate any suggestions!

Don't stress too much about the millipedes! They're actually just a part of your garden's cleanup crew, helping break down organic matter. Think of them as tiny helpers keeping your soil healthy. If you've got a lot of them, it’s a good sign that your garden's thriving. Just let them be!

Thanks for the reassurance! I was worried since I counted seven in just a minute last night and they're popping up everywhere. Good to know they're doing their job!

You're in a pretty good spot! Millipedes indicate that your garden is healthy, and they help keep decay under control. It’s normal to see a bunch around. Just relax, they’re not dangerous!

Thanks! That's a relief to hear. I just didn't expect to see so many, but I guess it’s a good sign after all!
