I found a metal mirror on the curb and want to hang it on my concrete wall. The back has a few rings for support—not evenly spaced, which has me a little concerned about balance. I'm thinking about using concrete screws or anchors, but I'm unsure if a 1/2" extension will be enough to support it properly since the mirror weighs about 8 kg. Any suggestions on the best way to mount it?

To hang a heavy mirror like that, you really want to ensure it’s balanced. Because the support rings aren’t evenly spaced, it might be a good idea to add some extra supports to avoid it being unbalanced. You can find specific hardware for this online that should do the trick. Your concrete wall should be strong enough to hold it, so finding a solution shouldn't be too hard.
I noticed that many mirrors come with a metal cable running between their loops. This allows you to use just one centered anchor instead of two, which can make installation easier and provide better support. Just be sure to check if yours has that!
If your concrete wall is painted, command hooks could work for lighter weights, but for this mirror, I’d recommend going with heavy-duty concrete anchors instead. Make sure you get screws with a long enough shank to really support that 8 kg weight. Alternatively, a French cleat system can help distribute the weight more evenly across the wall.
