How to Install a Dog Zip Line Post Safely?

I have a 70lb Bernese mountain dog, and we currently have her zip line set up between two trees. However, one of the trees is going to be cut down because it's posing a risk to our house. Unfortunately, I can't find any suitable replacement trees for the zip line. I'm considering installing a post in the ground instead. The zip line is about 10 feet up—will a 4x4 post, cemented below the frost line, be sturdy enough for this?

I actually set my zip line low to the ground, and it works just fine. Just be careful with weight distribution if the dog runs on it!

Doesn't the dog get tangled in it?

I'd recommend using a 6x6 post instead of a 4x4. At 10 feet in the air, a 4x4 might get a bit wobbly, especially with a big dog like yours. A beefier post will definitely help it stay stable!

Ok thanks. That’s what I wasn't sure about.
