How to Insulate an Outdoor Solar Panel Setup for Rain?

I'm setting up a solar panel system that will be completely exposed outdoors, and I'm unsure how to protect it from rain. What parts should I insulate, and how can I keep everything safe and functional? It only needs to last a few months, so I'm working with a limited budget and aesthetics aren't a concern.

Your solar panels and connectors are typically good to go in the rain, but you need to protect the inverter and battery. They should be in a weatherproof enclosure. Just remember to let them breathe to avoid overheating! Summer heat can affect the batteries too, so try to keep them cool and dry.

Definitely keep the inverter and battery dry since they can't handle water like the panels can. A tarp can work if you're careful about ventilation to prevent overheating. As for the charging regulator and fuses, it's best to keep them covered too; electricity and water don't mix well!
