How to Keep Ducks Out of My Garage Without Closing the Door?

I often feed wild birds and ducks, but the ducks love to hang out in my garage, leaving a mess with their droppings. In the summer, they come in for the shade, which makes it worse. I want to set up some kind of flexible barrier (since they walk in but don't fly) that's about 20 feet wide and 3 feet tall. Ideally, it would allow my car to roll through easily while still deterring the ducks. Does anyone know of a product or solution that could work for this?

What if you tried placing a coyote decoy at the garage entrance? It could scare the ducks away while you’re working outside. Plus, it would be a low-maintenance solution that wouldn’t block your path when you need to go in and out.

I’ve seen those magnetic garage door screens that claim you can drive through them. They might work for keeping ducks out while still letting you in and out easily, but I've heard mixed reviews about their durability when it comes to heavy traffic. Just a thought!

Yeah, I had one of those screens, and it ended up tearing pretty quickly when my car went through. If you're careful, they might hold up, but I wouldn’t count on them lasting too long!

You could create a more solid barrier using wood sheets or get a foam layer, which might help block the ducks better. If you're handy, you could even rig a roll-up mechanism to store it away when you're using the garage. It might be more effective than anything that tries to let your car drive through, which can wear out quickly.
