Hey everyone! I have a bit of an unusual question, but I'm curious about the best ways to protect my longboard from moisture, especially rain. My board is made of maple with a painted surface. I've been thinking about using beeswax or renaissance wax for coating and I've seen a suggestion to apply "SeamGrip+Sil" on the edges to prevent water from seeping into the wood layers. Any recommendations or tips? Thanks!

The paint on your longboard should generally keep moisture out, but if you've got any scrapes or scuffs, those spots might let water in. It could be a smart move to touch up any damaged paint. Also, if you want to avoid problems, just try not to ride it in the rain if you can help it!

I understand about not wanting to ride in the rain, but what if I get stuck out there? Is there anything I can put over the paint for added protection?
