How to Keep My Plants Happy in a Cold Basement?

I recently had to move, and now my plants are stuck in a semi-finished basement. There's some light down there, but it gets quite cold. My plants that haven't been watered yet are doing fine, but the ones I have watered are really struggling. What should I do to help them? Should I invest in more grow lights, heating, or improve airflow? I'm also curious if there are specific plants that can thrive in these conditions?

With the colder conditions in your basement, remember that water will evaporate more slowly, so you'll want to water less frequently. Just make sure your plants aren’t sitting in soggy soil for too long, as this can lead to root rot. It's a good idea to let the soil dry out somewhat between waterings!

Yeah, I've noticed my plants responding better since I cut back on watering! Especially since it’s been a bit warmer outside lately.
