Right now, it's fine, but with extreme temperatures on the horizon, I want to ensure the batteries stay healthy. I'm looking for advice on temperature control solutions that won't overwhelm my small space. Would a DIY method be feasible, or should I consider getting a mini-split or window AC unit, even if that means cutting a window?

Insulating your shed well will minimize the need for active heating or cooling solutions. In the past, structures called icehouses could keep ice through summers by using good insulation techniques. You might find some plans online that could help you adapt your shed. Just remember to ensure passive ventilation—aim for at least 2 square inches, with an intake and exhaust system in place!
