I recently picked up an adze from a second-hand store, but it came with an old straight handle that's pretty worn out. I'm not sure if it's a carpenter's adze or a rail adze. I'm looking to create a new handle, but I'm struggling to find good references or measurements for it. All I know is there's something called "offset" and a specific curve that I need to consider. Besides relying on my own artistic skills, does anyone have ideas on how to sketch out a proper pattern before I start cutting?

You might want to check out the video where David discusses adze handle design. It can provide great insights into the shape and measurements you should consider when crafting your handle. Here’s the link: [David's Adze Handle Video](https://youtu.be/a5MM__p85EM?si=-iYVo7h_6G3FBRCC)
