I'm working on perfecting my DeWalt 735 planer to eliminate snipe. I measured about 0.15mm of snipe that starts around 2.5 inches in. I can actually feel the ridge it creates. I'm curious how well others have their DW735 dialed in and if it's possible to reduce the snipe even further. The difference feels large enough that I might need extra correction before jointing the boards, but I'd love to hear any thoughts or experiences on this.

That's pretty typical. I've accepted that sometimes I just have to sacrifice about 6 inches to snipe. I’ve had moments where I get lucky and avoid it completely, but generally, I just make sure to work with that lost length. Sometimes those scraps can be used for other projects, or they make nice firewood!
Totally relate! I often leave a bit longer to cut off any issues at the ends anyway or because I might drop something and mess up a corner.
