I've noticed that my DeWalt drills and impact drivers are starting to show some rust on the tips after two years of use. I just moved to a new house, and I think the humidity in my garage is contributing to the problem. I'm looking for practical solutions to keep them rust-free. Any tips?

I usually oil all of my tools lightly. It really helps to prevent rust. Just be sure to use a good tool oil if you're looking for something specific!
If you’re seeing rust, you might have a bigger issue in your garage. I’d suggest getting a dehumidifier to keep the moisture levels down before it starts damaging more than just your tools.
I'm in the south bro. Humidity at 70% outside is normal.
One way to keep your drills rust-free is by storing them in a waterproof tub. Just make sure they’re completely dry before you do that. You could also throw in some moisture absorber bags and give your tools a light spray with WD-40 to help protect them.
I'll try this!

What kind of oil do you recommend?
