I've been trying to cut some 1/8" thick by 3/4" wide maple on my table saw, but I'm having a tough time. The wood lifts off the table while cutting and starts to chatter when I push it back down. Have any of you successfully made cuts like this without the chattering? What blades or methods did you use to get clean cuts? Thanks for your help!

Another option is to attach your thin piece to a larger board. This way, when you cut, the larger board provides the stability needed to keep everything steady and prevent lifting.
To avoid chattering when cutting thin wood, you might want to keep some downward pressure on your pieces. I use this tool called the Microjig Grr-ripper for that. It holds the wood securely down on both sides of the blade, making it super safe and effective! I definitely recommend giving it a try.
Have you considered using a featherboard? It helps keep the stock down against the table saw, which can eliminate the chattering issue.
