I'm trying to connect two SRNE 5kW inverters in parallel and have a few questions. Do I need to connect the batteries at the same time? Is it okay to run a single cable to connect the L (Live) and N (Neutral) terminals of both inverters? Also, do the wires need to be the same size, length, and thickness for a proper setup?

Make sure to check the documentation for your specific inverter model; it should include details on how to connect them in parallel. Typically, for inverters to sync correctly, they would need to communicate over a protocol like Modbus or RS485. It's crucial that they can talk to each other to synchronize their outputs effectively.
I looked through the manual for the HF series, and it turns out that it doesn’t support parallel connection. The RS485 port there is only for monitoring, not for syncing. However, if your model is the HFP4850S80-H, that one does have parallel capability, so check your manual!
