I'm trying to remove a shower head that looks like it's glued inside the threads. Is there a simple way to do this?

Definitely use a wrench! It's probably just some mineral buildup or maybe someone used pipe dope incorrectly. No need for teflon tape here; the seal comes from the rubber o-ring inside the shower head.
It might seem stuck, but it could just be some mineral deposits or teflon tape that's causing the problem. Grab a wrench and hold the shower arm steady while twisting the shower head off. If your shower head has flat edges, you can use those to get a good grip with the wrench.
I'm trying to use a wrench but it feels like it might break if I twist too hard. Any tips?
You know, if you take a closer look, the teflon tape is usually white but can also be blue or gray. If you can pick at it with your fingernails or some tweezers, you'll see if it's tape. Looks like the last person might have overdone it trying to stop a leak.
Can mineral deposits be loosened? I've been struggling with that.
Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a try!
What if it's mineral deposits? How can I loosen them?
