Hey everyone! I have a circuit diagram that shows two switches: Switch A, which is just a standard switch, and Switch B, which is connected to a circuit controlled by a day/night sensor. I want to disconnect Switch B from the day/night sensor circuit and instead connect it directly to Switch A. I'm thinking about using a wago connector to join the hot wire going to Switch A and Switch B. First, will this setup work for my needs? And second, is there any risk of causing electrical problems, like a fire hazard? I really need to keep my day/night sensor for other lights that I want to function automatically at night. Thanks for the help!

Looks like you’re planning to make some changes without fully understanding what’s going on, which can be risky. It’s crucial to know how your circuit is supposed to work before you start splicing wires. If in doubt, consider consulting a professional or at least previewing some instructional videos that explain circuit basics.
It sounds like your circuit design might need some revision. Make sure you understand your diagram and what each switch is controlling. Just splicing wires can lead to problems if you don't have all the details. I suggest checking out some basic residential electrical guides online; they can help you get a clear idea of how to visualize the connections before making any changes.
