How to Run a Doorbell Wire Through a Foam-Walled Exterior?

I'm trying to install a doorbell on my home, but I'm facing a challenge with getting the power wire into the wall. The wire needs to run down to an outlet near the baseboard, but the outside placement is a bit higher than the electrical box. I've noticed that the wall has spray foam insulation, which seems to be sticking to the siding. Any suggestions on how I can effectively run this wire? Is it feasible to go through the electrical box instead?

I've heard a few methods that might help you out. Some folks recommend using a heavy plumbob to drop your line. Others suggest using a strong magnet to pull the line through, or even bending a wire coat hanger to navigate past the spray foam. It could take a bit of trial and error, but these tricks have worked for some.

Hmm, I may have to try that.
