Hey everyone! I have a bit of a tricky situation here. The lightbulb in my stairwell has burned out, and I want to change it myself rather than call someone. I took out my ladder but couldn't figure out a safe way to reach the bulb since it's located above the stairs, not above the landing. I can't reach it from the landing, and I also can't get the ladder to a good position on the stairs. I noticed there are light bulb extension tools, but that might require dismantling the fixture. Any tips or suggestions? Thanks in advance, and feel free to toss in any lightbulb jokes!

If the bulb is exposed, you could use one of those poles that have suction cups. They make it super easy to spin the bulb out without risking a fall! Just make sure it’s the right tool for the job.
