I recently bought a Pecron E3600LFP power station and I'm thinking of using my 72V e-moto battery to add extra energy. My goal is to input an additional 3kWh through one of the solar panel ports, which accepts voltages between 30 and 150V. However, I'm concerned because the power station has a limit of 1200W per input. I'm not too familiar with how the charge controller works, but I worry that simply connecting it to the XT60 ports might lead to too much current. Would using a 20A charge controller help limit the current? I've also looked at DC-DC step down regulators, but they seem to handle only a few hundred watts and aren't easy to find in the voltage range I need (84V to 30-150V). Any advice would be appreciated!
