How to Safely Mount a Mirror on My Ceiling?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to mount a mirror on my hallway ceiling, which is about 3x3 meters and made of plasterboard. I'm a bit concerned that the mirror might be too heavy for the plasterboard and cause issues. I'd love to hear any tips or suggestions on how to do this safely without it falling down. Thanks in advance!

If you’re really set on this, make sure to mount the mirror directly into the ceiling joists instead of just the plasterboard. This will give you much better support. Also, consider using a lightweight mirrored film instead of heavy glass. You definitely don’t want a big mirror coming down unexpectedly—it could lead to a bad situation!

If you really want the mirror, just make sure it's safely secured. Using a film-based option could save you from a headache later. Better safe than sorry!

Honestly, I’m not sure this is a good idea. Just imagining a heavy mirror crashing down gives me major Halloween vibes! Maybe reconsider where you’d like to put it?
