Hey everyone! We're putting up drywall in a section of our room, and we want to wall mount our TV. I have a couple of questions: Is it safe to use screws on the areas I've marked for mounting? Also, once the drywall is up, what's the best way to find the studs for a solid mount? Should I use a stud finder, or would it be better to measure things out before the drywall goes up to get the right spot to drill?

Exactly! Adding some blocking at the height where the mount will go is a great idea. This allows you to center the TV on the wall without being limited by stud locations—super helpful!
Using a stud finder is definitely the way to go! If you want to be super prepared, consider putting in some blocking with 2x10s between the studs before the drywall goes up. This will give you more flexibility for where you want to mount your TV later on.
