How to Start Mint from Seeds?

I'm helping my friend set up an herb garden and she really wants to grow mint, both spearmint and peppermint. I already have a mint plant in my herb tower and I'm trying to root a cutting in hydroponics, but I'm not sure if that will work out. What's the best way to grow mint from seeds? Are those tiny seeds actually manageable? I'd love some guidance on the best methods for starting mint, whether in hydroponics or from seed. Thanks in advance! And by the way, I absolutely love seeing everyone's garden posts—they're so inspiring!

I've bought mint seeds before and they definitely work if you plant them in regular potting soil! Just make sure to keep the soil moist but not soaked. It's pretty straightforward!

So you just regular sow them?
