Hey everyone! I'm new to woodworking and want to make the most of my current tools before I buy more. I'm curious about how I can use my circular saw to achieve miter cuts like I would with a miter saw. Any tips or tricks?

Check out this YouTuber that simplifies the process! He does some great tutorials on circular saw jigs. Here's a link to one of his videos: [YouTube Link](https://youtu.be/H3R856PUt1c?si=q9QlAbRHR8uaIBTP)
Using jigs is the way to go! You can set up a jig that holds your workpiece at the right angle for miter cuts. Check out some woodworking forums or YouTube for examples – they really help you get precise cuts!
That sounds cool! Do you make your own jigs?
Yeah, jigs are definitely a game changer!
Honestly, for precise miter cuts, a miter box and a hand saw could be a better option. Circular saws cut from underneath the material, which might not give you the clean angle you're after. If it's small pieces, the hand tools work great and you don't need a ton of power.
Got it! Short cuts don't need that much power, right? Sounds like a solid plan.

Thanks! That video looks really helpful!
