I recently had some renovations on my house that meant I had to shorten a large kitchen window for new cabinets. Inside it's framed, but outside it's just a piece of wood. After firing my contractor due to poor work and other issues, I'm stuck with an unfinished window that no one seems willing to complete. The gap is attracting birds, and there's no trim or molding around it, so I think bricking it up is the best fix. Keep in mind this window is on the second floor. How difficult is this job? What tools would I need?
