Hey everyone! I have a chance to start a 2-day trial with a family friend's landscaping business, offering $15 an hour. If I do well, I'll get hired at $20 an hour, which sounds awesome! I'm just curious about what it's like to work in landscaping. Is it a job that a beginner can pick up quickly? I know it's not an easy job, but I want to know if I can understand the tasks and do them efficiently. Just to give some context, I haven't done well in school and I'm keen to make the most of this opportunity. Any tips or insights would be super appreciated!

Just come in with a positive attitude and be ready to learn. It can be tough work, but it’s definitely rewarding. You'll get a good workout while being outside, so it has its perks!
It's pretty straightforward! Just follow directions and don't hesitate to ask questions if you're unsure about something. Basic skills like mowing, trimming, and mulching are easy to learn within a couple of days. Good luck!
Thanks for the advice! I'm really nervous because I've never done landscaping, but I’m excited to give it a shot!
Working outside is great! At $20, you’re getting a solid starting wage, especially for your age. Plus, you'll have great stories to tell about all the landscaping adventures you’ll have. Just remember to stay hydrated and protect yourself from the sun!

I get what you mean about it being hard work, but I’m looking forward to it! Appreciate the encouragement!
