How’s the Battery Life on the M18 Chainsaw?

I recently ordered the M18 16" chainsaw kit with a rapid charger and the 12.0 HO battery, but it showed up damaged, so it was sent back before I even got it. I was really counting on that extra 12.0 HO battery to help me clear out a bunch of brush this weekend. Currently, I have two 6.0 HO batteries and two 8.0 HO ones. I also bought a tool-only version of the chainsaw and a dual-bay rapid charger because I need a working unit for my project. Do you think the dual rapid charger will keep up with my needs? There's also a gas saw available. Should I consider getting another HO battery and then returning it after I'm done? This has turned into a shipping nightmare!

Honestly, for what you’ve invested in that saw and all those batteries, you could’ve just grabbed a solid Stihl that would run all day on a couple bucks worth of gas. Just saying! It might be worth thinking about switching over to gas if you expect to be working for hours on end.

I’ve got a similar setup, and after taking a look at my options, I think I’m leaning towards gas too. It’s hard to keep up with all the charging otherwise!
