Ideas for Blocking Neighbor’s Chainlink Fence View?

I recently moved into a nice ground-floor apartment with a large backyard, but there's an eyesore: my neighbor's messy backyard and chainlink fence. Since I'm renting, I need a solution that's temporary and easy to disassemble. I thought about using planters with Quikrete to secure PVC pipes and attach lattice panels for some privacy and greenery. But I'd love to hear other suggestions from the community! Any ideas?

If you're looking for something to cover the fence directly, there are products like privacy fence slats that you can attach to the chainlink. They come in various colors and designs, so it can improve the look significantly without being permanent. Plus, you could even plant some climbing plants like Morning Glories or beans to add to the coverage!

Definitely! Morning Glories are great because they grow fast and can cover up your view pretty well during the summer.

You might want to consider temporary options like bamboo fence rolls or privacy slats designed for chainlink fences. They're easy to install and remove whenever you need. Also, check what belongs to your landlord versus the neighbor. That might help with your choices!
