I was working with my teacher who was cutting plywood on a table saw, and I stupidly stood too close. I ended up inhaling a bunch of wood chips and now my throat is stinging, it feels like there's something stuck in the back of my mouth, and my chest hurts a bit. I'm wondering if I should be worried about this. Will drinking water help, or do I need to see a doctor? What should I do about the wood chips that seem lodged in there?

You should be alright! It sounds worse than it is, but definitely avoid doing that again. Just drink water to soothe your throat and maybe gargle a bit if it feels like something is stuck. Most likely it'll pass soon enough!
Honestly, if you chewed on pencils as a kid, you're probably fine. Just take it easy and drink some water – it'll help clear things up a bit. You're not alone; I've been there too!
Yeah, you’ll be okay! Just expect your poop to float for a few days, but those chips won’t do any lasting harm. If it gets worse, then maybe consider seeing a doctor, but for now, just keep hydrated!

Thanks for reassuring me! I'll definitely learn from this.
