Hey everyone! I recently got into collecting plants and my collection is growing quickly. A friend of mine is offering to sell me some plants that I've been searching for: the Thai Con Monstera, Pink Philo, and Curly Hoya. The total price for all these is $125, and the plants are coming from out of state, so there's no shipping cost. I've typically paid around $60 for plants before, but those were more basic varieties. I really trust this guy, but I'd love to get some opinions from fellow plant enthusiasts before I commit. Do you think this price is reasonable?

Honestly, $125 for all those plants sounds like a pretty good deal, especially since you're getting some harder-to-find varieties. If you think about it, you're likely getting one of them for free! Just make sure to check on the size of each plant, as that can affect whether it's a good bargain. You might want to price check with a local nursery too, but overall, I’d say it's solid!
I think the price sounds fair. To give you an idea, I've seen medium-sized Thai Cons priced around $30 and Pink Philos for about $20 at local stores here. Prices can differ a lot depending on where you live though, so I totally get your concern. Plus, if you really want those plants, it might be worth it to get them now before they’re even harder to find!
Totally get that! I saw a massive Thai Con for $60 at Walmart but it was a pain finding it! So I think it’s worth it if these are ones you really crave.
Sounds like you're getting a pretty sweet deal! Just so you know, up here in Canada, I could probably snag all those for about $90, but that's because local prices vary significantly. If you have the cash and wanna support your friend, go for it! You’ll be adding some fantastic plants to your collection.
LOL, so you're saying go for it?! I’m totally pumped for this; I feel like my plant collection will finally be complete for a bit!

Right? I feel like even if they’re smaller plants, seeing them grow would be fun! I’m just glad they’re all coming from someone reliable.
