I'm considering using 14 mm poplar plywood for a workbench that measures 135x85 cm. I plan to use it for both a router and a table saw. Is this thickness sufficient for my needs?

14 mm sounds pretty thin for a workbench, especially if you're planning to do some serious work with a router and table saw. If you're just tinkering with smaller projects, it might be okay, but I wouldn't risk it if you're using hammers or putting a lot of weight on it.
It could work if you add some support underneath. For instance, put in braces in the middle and along the ends. Alternatively, you might consider stacking two layers of plywood with glue in between for added thickness. That would give you about 28 mm, which would be a much more stable surface.
I have the same issue. I was thinking of doubling the layers, but I could also add extra support in the middle. Do you think that would suffice instead?
