I found a local deal on Craigslist that offers four 10ft boards of solid red oak, sized 1" x 9", for $150. I'm thinking of using them for some home projects but I'm not sure if this price is reasonable. I've only bought standard lumber like 2x4's from Home Depot before. The seller claims the lumber comes from a reputable lumber yard and is all solid, not laminated, and is surfaced four sides (S4S). What do you think?

I’m in Connecticut, and I think that deal is fair. It's nothing super exciting, but you’re definitely getting your money's worth, especially since you won’t have to do any milling work.
From where I am, that's a good price too. In Florida, they charge around $10 per linear foot for similar quality. If you're getting quality boards without needing to mill them yourself, I’d say go for it! Just verify the quality when you pick them up.
