Is $170 a Good Price for the DeWalt 20V Max Pole Saw?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to pick up the DeWalt 20V Max pole saw and noticed that Ace has it priced at $170. I'm curious about what you typically see it priced at and whether you think this is a good deal or if I should hold off for a better price?

That’s actually the price I paid for mine, and I think it’s a solid deal! I got it from Home Depot for the same price, and that included the battery and charger. I haven’t seen any better offers since I started looking, so if it's the complete kit, I’d say go for it!

I did some searching and I mostly see the tool-only version for about $170. I already have DeWalt batteries, so that part wouldn’t be a problem for me.

Haha, I can totally relate! My manual Fiskars pole saw was driving me nuts!

I’ve been using the trimmer plus pole saw attachment with my old Troy-Bilt gas trimmer. I just upgraded to a 60V DeWalt trimmer and used the pole saw with it recently. It worked like a charm—better than the gas trimmer! If you’re also thinking about a trimmer, I really recommend this combo. You can find the attachment for under $100 on eBay, and Bomgaars has the trimmer with a 9Ah battery for $260.

I’d say that’s a good price! Definitely worth considering if you’re ready to buy.
