Is $19.5k Too Much for a Shower-to-Bath Conversion?

I'm in the process of converting my shower into a full bath, which includes adding a shower door, updating the window frame in the shower, and installing Kohler shower fixtures. The total cost I've negotiated is $19,500 for this small bathroom project. I've come across other people getting their entire bathrooms redone at similar prices, and it's making me doubt whether I'm getting a fair deal. I'm located in St. Louis, Missouri. What are your thoughts? ?

Honestly, $19,500 sounds like a lot, especially if it's just a shower conversion. Without knowing all the specifics, like materials and whether you’re doing extensive tiling or dealing with any mold, it's tough to say for sure. But yeah, I'd probably find a better way to spend that cash.
