Is $22,315 a Fair Price for Crawlspace Encapsulation?

Hey everyone, I recently got a quote for encapsulating my crawlspace from a reputable company. The process seemed smooth and they answered tons of my questions without being pushy at all. They provided a few different options, and I'm eyeing the middle-tier quote. The work involves a lot, including installing a TripleSafe pump system, IceGuard, a drainage system, and encapsulation materials, along with various permits. The total comes to $22,315. I'm new to this, so I'm wondering if this price is reasonable or if I should be shopping around more?

I understand your hesitation. I had a smaller job done—paid about $3,000 for a dehumidifier installation, crawlspace cleaning, and some sealing. It's less extensive than yours, but it gives you a point of comparison. Just remember, quality work is crucial, so don't just go for the cheapest option without considering the quality!

It's always a good idea to get multiple quotes, especially for a big investment like this. I usually recommend at least getting two or three estimates to compare prices and services. It sounds like a comprehensive job, but checking around can help ensure you're getting a fair deal!
